The story
I'm Hendrik. I produce music in Düsseldorf under the name Elias Bax — that's where this all comes from.
Düsseldorf — German underground rap
I started in the German underground rap scene. Spent years around producers, MCs, the labels that never got big. Hip-hop is where I learned what an artist actually needs: a place to be found, to release, to show what you can do — without a label gatekeeping it.
Berlin — techno took over
Then techno. The DE EU Küche nights, Boothaus shifts, hanging around the right people. I ran into Amelie Lens at her studio — small dinner, real conversations about how this scene works from the inside. The community here taught me that a creator profile isn't optional. It's the contact point between you and your bookings.
Tresor west — the resident showed me how to mix
I started DJing myself at Tresor west. The resident there taught me how to actually mix — not just hit play. Standing behind the booth, you see how every artist around you has the same problem: their Instagram bio is a single link, their SoundCloud is somewhere else, their booking email is buried, their EPK is a PDF nobody opens.
udots — the missing piece
I'm looking for ways to support the scene. Not as a label, not as a manager — as someone who builds tools. udots is the missing piece: a creator profile that's actually yours, hosted in Germany, free for what you actually need. No paywall on the basics. No US-tracker. No Linktree-watermark. Built so a DJ in Berlin, a producer in Frankfurt or a content creator in Düsseldorf can show up online the way they show up in person.
